In which Caliah and Audris meet and muse on the fate of Aschal and the parting of ways. (Note: This was rped on MUSH, for ease of reading and a better rp narrative overall. Doublespaced between poses. Mirrored on my lj, so apologies ahead of time to those who see two posts on their flists.)

People,
I will whack you to the end of the earth and back if you do not reply to me about your free times. This is the last time we'll be together, let's make this fun. Anyone genuinely interested for one last RP please reply to this message with your free time between now and June 19. Please use EST if not, tell me your local time and I'll compute it in EST.
Everything has been said and done. Its time for the pack to move on. But not without one last bang.
I'd appreciate it very much if you could give me ideas as well. |

It is with regret that I will have to do this, but as time continues on, we must move forward with the game. I am not a sentimental person, so nothing will be held onto for "old time's sake".
The Ge'Yvis clan will be disbanded as of today. I have already given one notice to them to get the clan up and running once again, and after several months, the numbers are too low to consider being kept around. If no one cares about the clan, then we do not need the RP for it at this time. Perhaps one day down the road a group of players will have the energy and effort to
I gave it a second chance already; I will not give it a third.
Also to note, after almost a month, the Aschal clan is noted to be very sterile. Not necessarily in numbers, but in lack of clan RP. Let me be straight forward here. A clan will not survive here just because the players like to log in to keep their characters active once every so often. I also know that many of the Aschal players have multiple characters in the clan. This is the Aschal's official 2 week warning. If we do not see some RP happening with the clan, we will remove it. There will not be a second warning.
The Ge'Siri clan is also faltering, though mainly within its numbers. This clan also is getting its 2 week warning to try to pick up the RP within the clan, or be disbanded.
Yes, a lot of people will think this sucks. But in all technicalities, if a clan can not be made productive within the game, then why hold onto it? And as I mentioned above, this is not necessarily a forever decision, but perhaps later on down the road there will be a group of supporting people who will want to try to take up these clans at a later date.
Any questions, comments, concerns, or flames can be directly emailed to me at caym@mdhoria.org.

This is what will be going into the clan book, with a rough explanation of each branch (to be edited) and the rank chart, which I haven't made yet. Note that the numbers are accurate as far as the promote command is concerned, so no more guessing on what number to promote someone! :)

yarr... this post is because I realized I never said it except to random few. Senti moment, so I'm keeping this short.
Yasi's reaction surprised me XD and then she said something:
"How can one mortal do so much?" or something along those lines.
Yesterday I said because he was a simple man but a persistent one -- because that was the first thing that came to mind, which I realized isn't the truth. It was simply because he wasn't alone. :D
*glomps you all*
end senti mode.
Thanks for the fun and I hope you all had a great time. |

The game won't be shut down.
Further announcements would be made later, not by me of course. :)
The Takeover was fun while it lasted.
When you next log back in, it's all back to IC and you never saw Laux OR Raleigh.

Please remember to put the proper names of shopkeepers (put them back in some cases) and append periods to long descs, thanks. Already claimed one vnum for a clan storybook (separate from the clan book, so we can actually get the clan book loaded ahead of time if they take too long with the harbour) and two for weapons, if that's okay with everyone?
And uh...please post any changes so far.

Copy of an old mail with the current ranks, for reference. ------------------------------------ Number: 698 To: Aschal From: Caliah Date: Wed Jan 26 08:52:51 2005 Re: Re: *a raven appears in a storm of black feathers, handing you an elegantly written note* ------------------------------------ Greetings. This is to inform the newer members of purposes of each rank in the clan ranking system. Sivinas who feel they are ready for an assigned role should report to an Ailbhe, Ailill or Ceallach and state which class they wish to join (warrior, mage or shadows). Those interested in the occupational ranks (Murchadh, Runai, Sithmaith, Aireachas, Aithinne) should notify one of the Nuallan, either myself or the Lady Audris. Preference will be shown to those of at least Aduain or Diamhair status, but exceptions may be made for promising Sivinas. Tigruaidh/Tignaith - leader of the clan Raigan - advisor, second in command Nuallan - internal/clan affairs, third in command Muirgeal - clan elder, retired officer Ailbhe - commanding officer of the warrior class Ailill - commanding officer of the mage class Ceallach - commanding officer of the Shadows Aithinne - veteran warrior and arms-master Namoh - ambassador Cathair - soldier of the warrior class Dubhan - soldier of the mage class Dubhghall - thief or assassin of the Shadows Runai - secretary, lorekeeper, courier Aireachas - weaponsmith, armourer Sithmaith - clan healers Murchadh - scout Diamhair - apprentice of the warrior or shadow class Aduain - apprentice of the mage class Leikr/Hugr - daughter or son of the Tigruaidh Cook Sivina - new members Signed, -Caliah Liancourt de Llys- ------------------------------------

This started out as Yasi's request for yet another smut fic. It evolved into something else which I had planned to write for a while now. Unfortunately, as much as I love the character - all good things have to come to an end.

(continued from previous post)
Slowly, like a poison, Aschal had infested Triage and worked on separating Lorvalis from Serian rule. It took years but it was freed and that was what mattered most. There were plans of taking Belverin, Irlandia and Rhyodin but they were not the priority. Aschal settled with Lorvalis but the plans for the three keeps would never be forgotten. The scrolls where these plans were written remained safe, hidden and to be used when the time would come that the leaders saw it fit. There was a period of strained peace but there were no assassinations or wars to worry about. During this stretch, Aschal prioritized on making gold, contracts, doing someone else’s dirty work and when there was nothing to do, they celebrated for all the things they could think of.
